Adopted!!

10/17/10 - Spencer is working on his socialization skills.  He's still pretty shy, but he is making eye contact with his foster mom.  He is growing lots of hair and likes his back scratched.  He still doesn't understand what being a dog is all about, but it takes time, patience and love.

8/10 - Spencer is approx. 3 years old. He is a sable male who was given up by his owner in central Arkansas who bought him and found him to be too shy. They didn't want to work with him and decided to turn him over to rescue. Spencer was shaved due to extreme matting, but is slowly growing hair. He's still shy and will need some help learning to socialize with other people and dogs. He has been fully vetted and is already neutered but will be on hold for a bit to get socialized. He is good with other dogs, and is housebroken. He doesn't know what toys are, and he loves treats. Spencer needs a home that understands life is not scary, and being a dog can be fun!!
